Hilo High School students interested in trying out for the Viking bowling teams for the 2012-13 season are asked to sign-up now at the main school office or the athletic director’s office.
The only thing needed to try out is a physical to be taken prior to the first day of tryouts. Those forms may also be picked up at the schools main office or athletic director’s office. Bowling coach Damien Chow will call all students who signs up for tryout dates about times and cost. The deadline to sign up is May 26.

Torngren sinks ace
Collin Torngren aced the par 3, 155-yard 2nd hole on April 14 at Hilo Municipal Golf Course. He used a 7 iron for his first hole-in-one.

Hilo Aikane tennis
The Hilo Aikane Tennis Club will have social tennis play from 7 to 10 p.m. Tuesdayat the Edith Kanakaole Multipurpose Stadium.
